About me: Thanks for reading!
Contact me via the form below,
I'm Aaron Wells, the above is my personal email address, and...
I'm---well---me. I'm 28, live in Kansas, dislike crappy products, love freedom, and basically work for myself in a variety of ways.
People don't understand me. "Why are you always obsessed with business and finances?" they ask.
"Because I love freedom." I say.
SO WHAT AM I DOING ON WEEBLY.COM?!
Making a living as turns out. Seems working for other people never works out. Bosses can't stand people more intelligent than they are. (or I can't stand them) Corporations can't stand freedom minded individuals, and it turns out it's faster to build a website than get a job these days. (I did get a job) But my resolve to be free hasn't changed. I can and absolutely will get up one morning, and be like "OMG! I don't have to go to work! Ever... Free at last! Free at last! thank God almighty I'm financially free at last! (Hey! I have a right to some fun now.)
I developed a passion for quality products in childhood, and within the last few years added simplicity to that really short list.
You see? It seems like almost everything breaks these days. It's an odd world where smartphones last 5 years, and can openers last 6 months. Laptops have flexible plastic bodies, and cars will be disposable if you blink about twice.
I even got tired of prissy men's style and started building "Real Men's Style" (dot com)
(Update) I gave that website to my brother so I can focus on this.
Then it occurred to me... Why not build a website that has incredibly simple instructions for identifying core product functional quality and nothing else?
Why not something that teaches people to choose a product that does exactly what it's supposed to do? Why not indeed!?!
2 hours later, there I was, working away at effectiveshit.org
