An introduction to my series on material properties as relate to the usage of objects you might buy and (obviously) use! This page contains the links for each property, so you have to click on it to get to each link herein. (basically, this is a master link page :)
What is my purpose here?
I want to show you how basic material science words apply to actual objects in an easy to understand way.
It makes sense to know what does what doesn’t it?
My intent with the following articles has nothing to do with covering the scientific nuances of each property, or how their definition and results can alter from application to application, but rather, simply give each person who reads this, a clear idea what does what in a broad sense of the word. This basic knowledge will serve you far better than sitting down and trying to analyze in excruciating scientific detail that would require advanced understanding and data to be of use anyway!
I also trust that you, as the reader, and being here, are easily intelligent enough to re-apply this data anywhere it might be of use, and do not need walked through each application.
Finally, individual product type articles are likely to have references to specific properties regarding specific applications. This pretty much has you covered for intuitive use of each term in a given way.
So dig in whole heartedly, knowing these articles will provide you with more practical information to assist your product selection and general life, than many, if not most Americans will learn in a lifetime of day to day activities. Namaste!
